Peacock name inspiration came during our stay at Shahar Palace in Jaipur (India). We were guests of Colonel Virendra Singh, member of the royal family of Shahar, and his charming wife Nalini. Their delightful and lush garden, dominated by the regal presence of peacocks, was such a paradise for us. At dusk we had fun chasing these enigmatic birds, wandering on trees and terraces.
Shahar Palace guesthouse was welcoming and relaxing throughout our stay. The Shahar family were always available and helpful with traveling info and worm around the clock service. We planned to stay for three night and ended up staying six... with a great atmosphere, clean and groomed ac room and sweet garden, we just couldn't leave! Great value for money, recommended!!
I loved my stay at Hotel Shahar Palace The family was so warm and welcoming, and with guests included it felt like one big family. As a woman traveling solo, this was a great respite. Definitely on my list of places to return to.
Excellent place to stay. I went with a group of friends when participating in a Rally. The owners are very hospitable people and take care of each and every need of travellers. Food is very nice, beautiful lawns, ample parking, Art Deco rooms. Value for Money.
The place was excellent and close to nature. Rooms were very neat and clean, beds were very comfortable, toilets were clean. They served good food there. Shahar place was in proper reach of tourists places.
I Stayed here for 2 nights and its been such a great experience. one caution- plz don't expect 5star property experience but rather this place is for peace lovers and for long stays. This place is run by a family who are the owners and will welcome you rising smile every time.
I am really looking forward to my 3rd visit to Shahar Palace this August.
